I could see the drive using the NAS Naigator 2 app, could ping the drive, and could access it from another machine but couldn't access it.

Aug 07, 2008 · I have a new Buffalo Linkstation Pro NAS attached to my router. Only root has full access to it. It's mounted in fstab and I've tried lots of variations, but it's always only root that can chmod any files on the mounted NAS. Find the default login, username, password, and ip address for your Buffalo LinkStation router. You will need to know then when you get a new router, or when you reset your router.
