I am using a Netgear WNDR4500 as a wireless bridge. It works fine. It is connected to my main router using wl0 2.4ghz and I have been using the wl1 5.0ghz channel for wireless connections as well to the WNDR4500. Jan 26, 2012 · For years I have been using a Netgear WNDR4500 running DD-wrt v24-sp2 as a wireless bridge to the second side of my house that feeds a switch with about 10 devices (TVs, desktop computers, etc). This all works pretty good (I occasionally need to unplug/plug the switch because of connection issues but its not a huge deal.) I have set-up Repeater-Bridge on other DD-WRT routers in the past, so I know how to do it. But even the correct set-up steps doesn't always result in a working Repeater-Bridge connection.
